Common Penis Questions

It’s Movember, the month to raise awareness for men’s health. To help celebrate this, I have put together a list of common questions that men ask about their members… just in case you wanted to know but never dared to ask!

“What’s the average size of a male penis?”

This is a topic that every man seems to be curious about – no matter how many inches a man has he always wants more! So what size is the average Joe? Well the Kinsey Institute for sex sampled 10,000 men and found that the average erect length was 6-6.5 inches and the average erect girth is 5-5.5 inches. It may surprise you that most women actually prefer an ‘average’ sized penis; so remember it’s not the size of the tool but what you do with it that really counts!

“I recently encountered some ‘performance issues’ I’ve never had trouble getting it up before, what happened?”

It happens to almost all men at some point in their lives. Your mind is ready and willing but your man downstairs won’t stand and deliver. Erection difficulties can be caused by a number of factors including age, stress, health problems, drugs and alcohol. So if it’s a one off, you’ve most likely got nothing to worry about; but if it’s a reoccurring problem then seek help from a medical professional.

“I’ve been reading about how to help PE (Premature Ejaculation), most of what I’ve read says to try Pelvic Floor exercises. Can you recommend some?”

The tried and tested way to find and exercise the PC muscles is to stop the flow of urine while peeing – but that doesn’t mean it’s the only way. One trick is to try and imagine that your penis has a mouth (the urethral opening) and then try opening and shutting it. Or while hard, squeeze those muscles and try to make your erection move or bounce.

“Sex toys intrigue me, I want to try them but do men use sex toys”

The simple answer is YES. You may be surprised to know that sex toy purchases are generally evenly split between both sexes. There are two common situations in which men make dabble with sex toys. Firstly many men tend to use sex toys with their partners especially when they are in long term relationships. Sex toys such as cock rings, tingling lubricants and shower toys,  are a great way to turn the mundane into exciting and spice up your sex life.  A great toy for beginners is the most popular vibrator in the world for couples - the ‘we vibe ii g-spot vibrator’ which is worn by women during love making but provides pleasure for you too!

There are also an abundance of sex toys that men can purchase for their own personal enjoyment or enhancement. There are many items which increase your enjoyment during masturbation such as ‘Fleshlight Girls’- inspired by some of your favourite females. Or if you would like to increase your general performance there is the popular Fleshlight Pink Lady Stamina Training Unit.
