Music Review: Baby Bash - Cyclone

Basketball player, hustler and ladies man Baby Bash starts hanging out at a local recording studio. Next thing he knows he’s writing gold and platinum-certified singles for other artists and developing his own rep as a rapper for his uncanny way with words. Growing up in the Bay Area (San Francisco) he comes up influenced by rap, R&B, reggae and rock, developing a supposedly unclassifiable fusion music style possibly in the tradition of West Coast hip hop artists Mac Dre, Ice Cube and E-40. I feel like I’ve heard this story before, you feeling anything similar? Enough of fantasy stories and back to reality, Cyclone by Baby Bash is an average synth-driven “party and girls”-centric hip hop album with the dubious distinction of featuring the worst T-Pain vocal performance I’ve ever heard on lead single ‘Cyclone’, and ‘Trill Is Gone’, a fucking OneRepublic collaboration, why?
Oh why?
