  Best song of the day and quite fitting for the last BDO in Auckland was Soundgardens; Black hole Sun. End of the BDO is going to leave a black hole in the Auckland Music scene.
  Best things were Mount Smart NOT being filled with a lot of Trendy Wannbies only interested being seen and heard. The Room to move about, new layout and the Whole Vibe made it one of the best BDOs EVER.

  Economy was on the skids well before the Election. Now the Economy has Crashed and is upside down in a ditch. NO ambulance or tow truck (political leadership with innovative policies) is coming to rescue it now or any time soon. The collateral damage is massive unemployment and people going overseas looking for a better life.   You can blame the old Board of Directors and the Chairmans of the Boards as well the old CEOs. I am sure they will all be living very nicely in their Mansions having sold all their Stock Options after running the Company into the Ground. The very Senior Management of Companies seem to get rewarded for incompetence and very bad management while the Workers lose their Jobs.
