Movie Review: X-Men Origins: Wolverine
Wolverine is Weapon X. At the end he fights against Weapon XI.
Wolverine was an okay movie, not as bad as the reviewer makes out, but a missed opportunity all the same.
But the Watchmen comparison is ridiculous. If Jackie Earl Haley's Rorschach didn't elicit a response from this guy he needs to check himself for a pulse. And Jeffrey Dean Morgan's Comedian was spot on repulsive. The fact is you're not meant to like the characters in Watchmen. More about Movie Review: X-Men Origins: Wolverine -

Batman - The Dark Knight Returns Massive Prize Pack & DVD's
Okay, so in my younger days I was an avid camper. One night some friends and I were out camping, and when we rocked up to the site of the small hut that they'd built, we found that some kind souls had managed to knock the hut over and roll it down the hill. No worries, we'll just camp under the stars.
So we set about having a few quiet ones, and I had one too many. The upshot was that I spent what seemed like hours bent over a fallen tree emptying my guts. I haven't been able to drink rum since.
The crowning glory came in the middle of my night, when after finally being able to crawl into my sleeping bag without spewing and falling asleep, I woke to find that it was raining. Or so I thought. I looked up to see that there wasn't a cloud in the sky, but there was a possum on a branch above me...

I guess the question is, "if it's ad supported, is it really free?" Much like television, I'm giving my time (or amperceived to be) by to look at the advertising, and so pay for the service. It's interesting to see the increased emphasis on product placement in the US in the Tivo generation. A fun take on that was the Simpsons episode where they got Tivo and Marge's conscience guilted her into going back and watching all the adverts she'd skipped because she'd been "stealing TV"...
